Hi, what a great idea to create a blog for our workshop in France. Nice layout and easy to use. This will be nice a tool for communication with family and friends during our stay. I thought I would try this out. I do have a burning question concerning money and how do we handle that in France. I am the debit queen but know it won't work in Europe. So what to do? I hate the thought of carrying around a large amount of cash but see no way around that. Travellers checks are often a pain as a lot of stores and restaurants in smaller places don't accept them. My credit card will only work in Paris but might not be accepted in smaller places where we will travel. Any suggestions from the more seasoned travellers?
