An Update on Paris Museum Passes
My Parisian partner Nicolas suggested that this pass might be of interest to some of you:

Apparently it allows one to visit any of the national museums and comes in 2, 4, and 6 day packages. It is a much better price than the other passes that we looked at this winter so it is an option if you want to spend short periods of time in multiple museums.

Hi Jamie! Please thank Nicolas for this information. I just ordered our 4 day passes on line. Now we can spend more time viewing artwork instead of waiting in line. Thanks so much Jamie!

A couple of questions about cash and credit cards. How much cash would you suggest we need for our meals away from le Monastere while we are staying there? Does the PIN number requirement apply to both Credit and Debit cards? Thanks again! Judy Thompson
Hi Judy,
I will definitely thank Nicolas! I think it looks like a great deal.
In my experience you generally need a PIN for BOTH your debit and credit cards. Its best to set that up with your bank. Having a credit card with a PIN is handy for buying things (like Metro tickets)at kiosks if you don't speak the language.
I have no idea what kind of cash you will need for le Monastere. I'll have to "pass the buck" to my Mum for this one.
